Sam Riddle denies 'hush money' characterization; says FBI questioned him about Jennifer Granholm, Bernard Kilpatrick
Sam Riddle appearing on Fox 2's "Let it Rip" on June 19.Political consultant Sam Riddle talked to Paul W. Smith on WJR AM-760 this morning and discussed a series of issues, including Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm and supposed "hush money" paid to him by the Michigan Democratic Party.
Expanding on an interview he gave to the Detroit News, Riddle told Smith that the FBI previously questioned whether he knew anything about an inappropriate relationship between Granholm and Bernard Kilpatrick, Kwame Kilpatrick's father.
"They asked if I knew anything about a relationship with a then-young attorney working for (Wayne County Executive) Ed McNamara working in the vicinity of Bernard Kilpatrick and whether or not there had been any sort of personal relationship between them."...More
